Provide oversight of woud care to all staff as directed by the Medical Director of Director of Nursing.

Consult and coordinate with the interdisciplinary team (IDT) and healthcare professionals to assess, plan, and evaluate individualized resident care plans to improve skin, wound and ostomy health.

Serve as a resource for inpatient wound care and skin issues and provide teaching to staff and family.

Develop a wound program.

Facilitate physician monitoring of wounds by flagging areas of concerns and preparing physician orders for signature" document physician visits with residents.

Monitor request for wound consultations or referrals.

Perform administrative duties by completing medical forms, reports, evaluations, studies, charting, etc.
